Sammo Hung

One of the most respected and influential modern Hong Kong film directors, Sammo Hung has, like his Peking Opera school brothers Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao, been in show business almost all of his life.

Sammo was the eldest "brother" during his time at Sifu Yuen's Peking Opera school and as such was the first to leave and find work in the Hong Kong film industry.  He started out as stuntman and progressed to martial arts instructor (choreographer).  It was during this time that first Jackie, then Biao, left the the Opera school and were looking for work. Big Brother Sammo gave Jackie and Biao jobs as stuntmen on many pictures. Sammo also helped out fellow classmates Yuen Wah and Cory Yuen.
